Brian DiBonaventure
Current Role: Cpt. Joffrey du Made
*****Brian is the founder of Subtle Hint Productions.  He has been performing since high school, and
attended Kutztown University studying drama and professional writing.  While at Kutztown he was involved
in the main-stage productions of
A Lion in Winter as Geoffrey Plantagenet, and Working as Emelio
Hernandez, as well as the independent project
Rhapsody Lane (a comic take on British soap operas
written by Stephanie Campfield and directed by Melissa Adams).  While at Kutztown Brian had the
privilege of studying under Dr. John Callahan and Dr. Michael Kirkland, both certified SAFD fight directors,
as well as classes with Aileen Quinn (Annie;
Annie the motion picture) David Garrison (Steve; Married with
Children
) and Michael John Lachiusa (composer; Hello Again).  He was also heavily involved with the
Kutztown University Medieval Renaissance Club, and later returned to chair their drama committee for
three years, acting as head scriptwriter and director for their two annual productions; a Medieval
Christmas Dinner and spring Renaissance Faire.  Outside of the University setting he has worked with
many local groups in their productions of
Chess, A Fine Monster You Are, Noises Off!, Oklahoma, The
Emperor's New Clothes
...to name a few, as well as portraying the recurring character Captain Geoffrey
the Mad at various Renaissance Faires over the past decade.   In October 2002 he directed and
co-produced the Subtle Hint Production of
Poltergeist Pub; an idea he created jointly with Reverend
Matthew Thomas.   Brian could be seen in the 2003 television commercial for Pennsylvania Power and
Light, shown regionally.   Subtle Hint Productions was a dream that he is glad has finally, after much
heartache, stress and tears, come into fruition.  (

Peter David Hughes
Curent Role: Sir James Wyddowson
*****Simply "Dave" to those who know him best, he has been involved in theatrical productions since high
school.  He joined the Kutztown University Medieval-Renaissance Club in college, and got involved in their
two annual theater productions.  It was while there that he had a hand in forming Subtle Hint Productions,
and has been working with the group ever since.  Dave developed an interest in performing thanks to his
artistic parents, and has been involved in theatrical projects since high school.  He studied theater at
Kutztown University working with the Sunshine Players and the KUMRC.  Some of his most notable roles
include Joe Morelli (
Mere Mortals), Bill Sykes (Oliver), and Dr. John Dee (The Templar Treasure).

Christopher Pizolato
Current Role: Lord Aloysius
*****Chris has been working in theater since the spring of 1992.  His first appearance on stage was in
Lessons of Oz at age 8, at Muhlenberg Elementary School.  In high school he took on a number of stage
roles, as well as behind-the-scenes work as part of the tech crew.  His high school stage career is where
most of his early experience came from, as he stared in shows such as
The Ubu Plays and Welcome to
the Monkey House
.  As tech, he did work on musical performances of You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown
and
Pippin.  In addition to lending his talents as an actor, he is also a writer who one day hopes to direct a

Jennifer Chamberlain-Thomas
Current Role: Cpt. Morgen ni Calliegh
*****Jennifer has been involved in the Berks County theater scene for the last thirteen years.  In addition to
participating in productions for the Kutztown University Medieval Renaissance Club from 1991 to 2002,
she has appeared in
The Crucible, A Fine Monster You Are, Chess, Little Shop of Horrors, and The
Scarlet Pimpernel
.  Also, she and her husband, Matthew, co-produced Subtle Hint Productions' Poltergeist
Pub
.  Although she ranks Poltergeist Pub and Chess as her favorite shows, Jennifer must admit that her
most challenging and rewarding role to date has been "Mommy" to her and Matthew's son, Riley.

Jon Corbin
Current Role: Ida Knowe
*****Jon is acting with Subtle Hint Productions for the first time.  Previously he has appeared in Les
Miserables at the Civic Theater and has done numerous performances with bother the William Allen and
South Mountain theater companies.  Jon hopes to continue working with Subtle Hint while he attends
Kutztown University for secondary education, history, and psychology.

Victor Hoch
Current Role: Ambrose Steward
*****Victor, or just “Vic” to his friends, has never acted a day before in his life.  This performance marks
her first attempt at live theater, and he is very excited for the opportunity.  He has come a long way after
many months of hard work, and is proud to be a member of this cast…

Mike Kiefer
Current Role: understudy
*****Mike is a strange man, with varied interests and hobbies which range from writing poetry to crafting
leather armor.  He has been active in Subtle Hint Productions since winter of 2000, first appearing in
Everyman's Off at Kutztown University.

Anna Koneski
Current Role: Sister Loquacious of the Chattering Order
*****Anna has been acting (and over-acting) since kindergarten.  This is her third time acting with Subtle
Hint Productions, and she has more fun every time.

Katie Smith
Current Role: Marguerite, the Countess du Poisson
*****Katie is a lyric soprano with a great passion for theatre and acting.  She is currently studying with
Trisha Koch Budlong at Moravian college, and pursuing a B. Mus. in Vocal performance.  After completing
her associates degree at County College of Morris in Randolph, NJ, she was accepted to the Spoletto
Vocal Arts Symposium in Spoletto Italy, where she spent a month studying opera with such renowned
teachers and coaches as Nico and Carol Castel, Judith Coen, Dauri Shippey, Pamela Gilmore, Alessandro
Benigni, and Federico Brunello.  She has also studied with Marielaine R. Mammon of Randolph, NJ, and
JB and Barbara Davis of Sussex, NJ.  Katie has been an avid performer and artist since her early child
hood.  Her current endeavours include traditional Egyptian and fusion belly dance, and theatrical magic.  
Katie began her singing career in musical theatre, and has experience singing, acting, dancing,
costuming, directing and working back stage.  She even built and puppeteered the Audrey II puppets for
Little Shop of Horrors.  She has been seen in many productions at Country Gate Theater in Belvedere,
NJ.  Recently, Katie has been seen in the Mozart opera,
Cosi Fan Tutte (Despina), Purcell's Fairy Queen
(Night, The Plaint), and Gian Carlo Menotti's
The Telephone (Lucy).  In 2005, Katie founded The
Footlights Musical Theater Company, and produced and directed
Godspell in November 2006.  She has
always shown great promise as an operatic singer, and hopes to continue her studies at Conservatory for
a masters degree in Opera.

*****Shaun hails from southern New Jersey, and has never appeared on stage before in his life.  He is
excited for this opportunity and has been having nothing but fun during the production process.

Barbara Wenner
Current Role: understudy
*****Barbara first appeared in a show by Subtle Hint in the winter of 2004 in A Christmas Dirge.  Since
then, she has appeared once more in the KUMRC Holiday Dinner of 2005.  She is happy for this
opportunity to perform once again, and is very excited about showing off what she can do.
